1. Highway
  The Development Zone is located in the northwest side of Linping City, and main arteries to the outside are No. 320 National Highway, No. 09 Provincial Highway, Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, Hangzhou-Pudong Airport (in Shanghai) Expressway, Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou-Hangzhou Expressway that is under planning, Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, Haining East and West Avenues and Hangzhou City Ring Road, among which Shanghai-Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway, No. 320 National Highway and Hangzhou City Ring Expressway pass the south side of this Development Zone, No. 09 Provincial Highway and Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway pass the west side, so the transportation is quite convenient.
  Linping Passenger Station is a station of Grade II, around 2,247passengers are transported on average every day. Main business in the passenger station is to transport passengers that are from different provinces & cities and some urban regions. It will be restructured as a bus station. Linping Northern Passenger Station, which will be newly built near No. 320 National Highway, as well as Linping Southern Passenger Station are parts of the passenger transport hub stations in the main passenger transport hub system of Hangzhou highway. There are also non-primary hub stations, such as Tangxi Passenger Station.
  Among the programming of the main hub logistics system of Hangzhou highway, Banshan Logistics Centre (locates near the No. 320 National Highway and the City Ring Highway Overpass) and Logistics Base in Linping North Industrial park (locates in the industrial park next to No. 320 National Highway) are confirmed.
  Bus line from the Development Zone to Hangzhou urban section directly was also open on Jul.16, 2008. That is number K330 bus line, with its terminus at Jiaojiacun central bus station of Hangzhou. Some BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) lines connecting with main urban area of Hangzhou will be open up along with the speeding up of Development Zone construction in the near future. Besides, Shijidadao Station (Linping) in the Metro No.1, which has been under full construction, is planned to be finished in 2011. At that time, it may only take 28 minutes from Shijiedadao Station to Wulin Plaza. Shuttle bus running between Shijidadao Station and the Development Zone will be put into operation after Shijidadao station is completed. Moreover, as per the metro programming, some stations will be set up in the second phase of Metro No.1 in Qianjiang Economic Development Zone. This project is estimated to start in 2012. On that occasion, Qianjiang Economic Development will be connected with Hangzhou main urban area, Linping Sub-city and Xiasha Sub-city seamlessly.

2. Water transportation and wharf
  
The main waterway is Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Cannel, which is not only an important part of cargo transport in Hangzhou, but also an important water transportation line for the cargo shipment of Linping Industrial park.
  Wharfs are widely distributed in Yuhang harbor area including Chongxian Harbor Area, Renhe Harbor Area and Linping Harbor Area. The major wharfs around this Development Zone are Tangjingyang Operation Area (locates at the former Wuhang Town, the northeast corner of the planned land) and Tangxi Automotive Applications Wharf.

3. Air transportation
  
The Development Zone is around 35km away from Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport. CAAC booking office will be set up within Linping Industrial park to facilitate air transportation here; it is around 180km away from Shanghai Pudong International Airport and takes less than 2 hours by car.

4. Railroad
  
There is one railway passenger station in Linping which is a short distance and sectional station with the annual volume of passenger transport as 10,000 persons.
  The first-phase project of Qiaosi Marshalling Yard, which is almost finished, is Grade I with three squares and the unloading capacity is 3,808 vehicles.
  There are Linping Cargo Transport Station and Xuanhang Railway in the Southwest. Conditions for developing railway transportation are reserved.

5. Freight ring road system
  The freight transportation within Linping Industrial Zone is organized by the freight road system together with the City Ring Highway to radiate the outside and connect with Shanghai. The freight road system is made up of the east linkage line (Donghu Celerity Road), No. 320 National Highway and Heyu Road.
